" Forward
planning gives us better insight
into our expected output"
A dedicated computerised scheduling office keeps
track of incoming orders, whether they be sent by EDI, fax, e-mail
or post, and all jobs in progress as well as future work allocated
to each of the 40+ production machines. An accurate history of
each machine is kept, including seconds per component, downtime
and tooling. Daily, every machine's production rate is monitored
and the necessary adjustments made, to give a accurate measure
of the planning.
Nothing is missed, material delivery, staff holidays,
bar loading and even operator's lunch breaks being considered in
each machines output. Quality standards dictate each machine's
'service due' period, triggering a signal for the appropriate servicing
schedule to be initiated which is overseen by the quality manager,
right through to the out-sourced metrology.
The scheduling office works in close liaison with
the Sales and Marketing Manager and the Quality Assurance Manager
to ensure the complete satisfaction of both new and old customers.
Our Sales and Marketing
team are ready to assist with new enquiries at any time and prepared
to give professional advice to existing and potential customers. |
