Redmond Repetition has taken the trouble to install a coolant recycling and swarf-handling system that chops swarf, spin-dries it and returns 99 percent of the coolant to a holding tank. Filtered, recycled coolant is then pumped to each machine when required. The savings are reflected in reduced overhead and more competitive prices to Redmond customers.

The sorted, dry swarf, in steel, aluminium or brass is conveyed to a waiting scrap hopper within close vicinity to an access door. Swarf is regularly collected by a metal recycling business - quick, clean, dry and no back injuries to staff, as no man-handling takes place.
